GARDP around the world.
Creating equal partnerships to tackle AMR.
Creating equal partnerships, across the Global North and the Global South, is high on GARDP’s agenda. This is necessary because, while antibiotic development has traditionally focused on the needs of high-income countries, low- and middle-income countries not only have a great burden of disease, but also have much to offer in tackling the global AMR crisis – from the scientific and medical expertise, clinical research capabilities to manufacturing.
To unlock the expertise that different countries hold and to address the AMR burden where it is most needed, GARDP is committed to having a global presence. In addition to our collaborative network of more than 100 R&D and access partners, GARDP has offices in strategic locations around the world, including joint offices with DNDi, our co-founder. This not only strengthens our geographic footprint, but also helps to optimize resources, and jointly power an ecosystem of partners and initiatives.
